Attending the General and SOCOM meetings are not mandatory, but
your Promotions are determined on
- Activity within the Force Group (attenting meetings, attending advertised operations and games, contributing to forums to maintain communication,
- Time-in-Grade
- Merit
- What you contribute to the Force Group (What and how is determined by you.)
There will be no skipping of ranks, you may qualify for a field
promotion at the discretion of the Division Commander, but only advance

Master Chief Petty Officer (MCPO)
Master Gunnery Sergeant (MGySgt) | Promotion to SGM, MCPO, or MGySgt is both a rank as well as a position of Authority within a unit. It is a
role and rank of significant tradition throughout the Armed Forces of the World. Each Unit within the Force may appoint a single Sergeant
Major from within its members, as decided by the Commanding Officer;

Command Master Chief Petty Officer (CMCPO)
Sergeant Major (SgtMaj) | As the senior E9 within a Force Group, they are appointed within the command squad of one of the units in a Force
Group and are the most senior enlisted member in the Force Group. Their responsibility is as the most skilled member of the group, with a keen
focus on training and stewardship over new members. They are generally referred to as SGM or CMCPO;

Force Master Chief Petty Officer (FMCPO)
Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps (SgtMajMC) | One Sergeant Major may be selected as the senior member out of the entire Force. Typically they will be stationed in SOCOM directly, or
may continue to serve in their unit. Their responsibility is as the most skilled member of the entire Force, with a keen focus on training and stewardship over new members.
They are generally referred to as Sergeant Major, rather than their full title. Promotion to E-9-3 is at the discretion of a Commanding Officer, once the member has achieved
the following;

Second Lieutenant (2ndLt) | Newly Commissioned Officers are appointed to this rank, on successful
completion of the Officer Training Course (OTC). Although they may be commissioned at a higher rank. Where a Second
Lieutenant is posted as a Commanding Officer of a unit, such a posting is considered provisional unit they have been
substantiated to the rank of Second Lieutenant;

- Active in unit events and on the forums

Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG)
First Lieutenant (1stLt) | Lieutenants fill Sub-unit leader positions within Units, although may be posted

- 8 weeks service as a O-1
- Completed any unit training or assessment required

Lieutenant(LT)
Captian (Capt) | O-3 Grade Officers are typically seasoned Squad leaders,
Executive Officers, or Staff Officers, who are preparing for Senior Management positions within Unit and Force
command. Promotion to O-3 Grade is at the discretion of a superior officer, once the member has achieved the following;
- 8 weeks service as a O-2
- Active in unit events and on the forums
- Displayed leadership
- As a Sub-unit leader, the squad must be active

Lieutenant Commander(LCDR)
Major (Maj) | Grade O-4 Officers are typically new unit Commanding Officers, Senior Executive
Officers, Senior Staff Officers in SOCOM. In exceptionally large Units with senior officers commanding them, Majors may command subunits.
Promotion to O-4 Grade is at the discretion of a superior officer, once the member has achieved the following;
- 8 weeks service as a O-3
- Active in unit events and on the forums
- Displayed leadership
- As a Unit leader, the squad must be active

Lieutenant Colonel (LtCol) | O-5 Grade Officers are highly competent Unit Commanders, Senior Executive

Promotion to O-5 Grade is at the discretion of a superior officer, once the member has achieved the following;
- 12 weeks service as a O-4
- Participated in a decorated Force operation
- Serving in a Supernumerary position

Captian(CAPT)
Colonel (Col) | O-6 Grade Officers are exceptionally competent Officers, and the Chief of Staff can only make promotion to this rank. In order to be eligible for promotion to O-6. This is the most senior Officer rank before the General officer ranks, and achievement of this rank is considered a great honour within the Force;
